The team is made up of three members:
Senior Legal and Investigations Officer - Colette Donaghy LLB (Hons)
Colette studied Law and Politics at Queen’s University Belfast and graduated in 2000. She completed her Certificate of Professional Legal Studies at the Institute for Legal Studies from 2000-2002. In 2002 she qualified as a Solicitor and worked in private practice in which her main focus was around Child and Family Law.
Colette joined the public sector in August 2010 and from this joined NICCY in September 2010 as Senior Legal and Investigation Officer.
Legal and Investigations Officer - Sinead Mallon LLB (Hons)
- Sinead studied Law and Business Studies at the University of Ulster Magee and graduated in 2005. She completed her Professional Legal Studies Course and qualified as a Solicitor in 2009. Sinead then worked in private practice, focusing on child law. Sinead joined NICCY in January 2012.
Legal and Investigations Advice Officer - Deborah Crawford Bsc(hons)
Deborah has been working in the voluntary sector for over 15 years. She joined NICCY in November 2013, before this she worked as an Outreach Worker for the Citizens Advice Bureau, a Welfare Officer for WAVE Trauma Centre and an Advice Worker for Victim Support. She is currently studying for an LL.M in Human Rights Law.
