Training for Professionals

Training for teachers

NICCY provides training on exploring the UNCRC and the role of NICCY for trainee and in service teachers. A Train the Trainers model has been running as a formal process for a number of years in St. Mary’s University College Belfast and we have also delivered training to early years Students at Stranmillis and the NICIE.

Comments from Participants

‘I feel workshops such as these make some well known and understood issues more real and ‘bring them home’ to people.

‘The NICCY staff were very helpful and had us very well prepared for the session. The most interesting area was the different workshops available all very useful during school experience for LLW.’
