Over the past number of weeks the Health and Social Care Board has been working closely with the Department of Health and the Department for Communities to put in place a Regional Remote Sign Language Interpreting Service.  The priorities in this process have included security, regional consistency, and accountability, and the provision of 24/7 access in BSL and ISL to not only NHS111 but also all Health and Social Care services.
