Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People, Patricia Lewsley, said:

“I am extremely concerned at the effect the industrial action is having on all the pupils at Movilla High School.

“Last week I offered to mediate in this dispute. Today I am reiterating that offer to act as a mediator between the union and school to ensure a speedy resolution.

“I believe that all parties need to come to the table before the education of all pupils at Movilla High School is further damaged.”
