Karin Eyben – Policy and Research Officer

Karin has worked in the community and voluntary sector for many years on issues such as community relations, rural community development, participatory budgeting, gender, and integrated education.

Over the last five years, she has been coordinating the Garvagh People’s Forest Project, a project about noticing and valuing the relationships local people in the ‘oxygen’ catchment area of the forest have with their forest and growing that value, contributing to wellbeing, learning, creativity and shifting from an extractive to stewardship mindset.

She is a co-founding member of the Hare’s Corner Cooperative.
