Ken Smyth- Senior Participation Officer

Ken joined NICCY in 2005 and has over 30 years’ experience in working with children and young people.  He is the Senior Participation Office within the Policy and Participation Team, managing the Participation team, whilst providing strategic participation advice to government departments and associated statutory agencies to ensure the voice of young people is heard and working with the Youth Panel, especially with their education initiatives.

Outside of work, Ken enjoys fishing, rugby, cooking, golf, and being on the rollercoaster that comes with being a Leeds United supporter.
