NICCY welcomes the establishment of the Just Transition Commission as the pathway to a reduction in our emissions and a healthier environment which must also be a catalyst in progressing to a fairer society.
We are also pleased that there will be representation on the Commission from ‘youth groups’ and young people and our response to the consultation questions explores how the Commission might work as this inter-generational space.
