While we are not able to provide advice on the detail on all of areas covered within the Speed Limit Review, we would draw your attention to a number of key children’s rights principles for consideration. We have also provided some commentary and questions relating to the 20mph speed limits section, the stakeholder engagement section, and some comments from our NICCY Youth Panel (NYP), children and young people directly, and examples from queries NICCY has received from school leaders on road safety and speed limits which we hope will help inform the Department’s Review.
