Increasing the Minimum Age of Criminal Responsibility in Northern Ireland
Following a meeting with the Enabling Access to Justice Division and members of the NICCY Legal and Investigations Team in November 2023, NICCY wrote to the Department highlighting several areas surrounding the reform of civil legal aid. We take this opportunity to expand further on these issues and highlight areas of the draft opportunities for reform identified in the consultation that we would have concerns with.
