Graham Lorimer – Communications Officer

Graham joined NICCY in October 2023.

He graduated with a degree in English from the University of Dundee and has worked in journalism and communications since 2002.

Graham worked for DC Thomson, one of the UK’s leading media organisations, for 15 years. Starting out as a News & Sports Sub-editor, he made the transition to magazines, working as a Features Writer, Deputy Editor, Production Editor, and then Editor of three children’s publications.

After moving from Scotland to Northern Ireland, Graham joined the Communications team at Danske Bank UK.

In his role at NICCY, Graham works closely with the Chief Executive and the Commissioner to develop and implement the Corporate Communications Strategy in line with Corporate and Business Plans. He leads on the Digital Media Strategy and social media and manages NICCY’s website. Graham also manages the production of all printed publications and is responsible for the development of NICCY’s visual brand and corporate identity.

In his spare time, Graham enjoys playing football a couple of times a week, yoga, and daily, outdoor ice baths. He is a passionate Rangers FC supporter and a big fan of 60s & indie music.
