Training and education

As part of our Statutory Duty to raise awareness and understanding of children’s rights, NICCY have initiated a number of projects to help train professionals (teachers, health care workers, solicitors and barristers) who work with and for children and young people.

Online Training Resources

NICCY have developed two online training modules to support learning on children’s rights, your role on supporting children’s rights and the importance of acknowledging children’s rights when delivering policies, strategies, legislation and services. These modules are for people who work with children and young people or whose work impacts children and young people.

UNCRC Resource Hub

We have developed with CCEA NICCY and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA)  have partnered to create a child rights animation and resource hub for teachers and pupils – click here for more information
