NICCY Annual Report 13-14 - web.jpgThe Corporate Services Department plays an important role within NICCY, supporting the Commissioner and Chief Executive in the delivery of administration, asset management, finance, human resources, internal audit, internal and external communications, procurement services and also ensure a regulatory role.

The three main functional areas include:

  • General Administration Support – providing core services to the Commissioner and Chief Executive along with being the first point of contact for the public via reception, telephone, email and the web
  • Corporate Communications - The Communications team works with the media, politicians and through online sources to inform people about the work of the Commissioner. The team is also is responsible for this website and any publications needed. Part of what we do, is to support other teams to communicate and share their work.
  • Financial services -  By providing a full range of services to NICCY including budgetary control, co-ordination of annual budget and capital estimates, preparation of annual financial accounts, paying suppliers and debtor control. Other areas also include audit
  • Human Resources - responsible for the effective management of NICCY employees with specific areas of work including recruitment and selection, training and development, employee relations, performance management, payroll and policy development.
